Mobile Plant Engineer Required in Dartford for a National Fleet Company!
  • Pay: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE + Bonuses 
  • Hours:  8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday - Saturdays optional overtime 
Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer or Mechanic looking to join a reputable national fleet company? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Mobile Plant Engineer based around Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a company that values its technicians and offers a supportive working environment.

Duties:
  • Servicing and repairing a fleet of utility vehicles, including plant machinery and commercial vehicles
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks such as brakes, clutches, timing belts, suspension work, and turbo replacements
  • Conducting occasional gearbox repairs, primarily on warranty work
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer specifications
  • Supporting the company’s commitment to delivering quality service on a diverse vehicle fleet
  • Managing stock orders through company accounts, with pre-approval for outside purchases
  • Participating in the on-call rota, providing emergency support when required
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualified technician or plant mechanic
  • Experience working on commercial vehicles, notably utility vans and plant machinery
  • Proficiency in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs of vehicles from 6 months to 6 years old
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
