Our automotive car garage client is seeking a professional and dedicated MOT Tester to join their workshop team in Epsom. This is an excellent chance for MOT Tester to work within a reputable dealership environment, offering a competitive salary and a supportive working atmosphere.
  • Pay: £36 - £38k Basic DOE
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 42.5 Hours per week + Saturday mornings on a rota 
Benefits: 
  • Basic salary range of £36,000 to £38,000 per year, dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch
  • Saturday mornings on a rota, approximately one in three weeks from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Opportunity to contribute to a well-established team in a busy dealership setting

Duties:
  • Conducting accurate MOT inspections in accordance with industry standards
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults and ensuring repairs meet compliance requirements
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and professional conduct
  • Documenting inspection outcomes clearly and professionally
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester with valid certification
  • Knowledge of current MOT testing regulations and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
