We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our client’s well-established garage in Kilmarnock. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified MOT Technician to join a reputable business with multiple locations nationwide. You’ll be working as part of a dedicated and professional team with the full support of a stable and customer-focused employer.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £40,000
    On-target earnings (OTE) of approximately £43,000
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm , Saturdays on a rota, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
  • Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements
  • Performing repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles
  • Accurately completing all relevant paperwork and test documentation
  • Delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements as a MOT Technician:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Valid MOT Testing Licence
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Strong team player with a customer-first mindset
