About this Service Advisor role:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the customer journey throughout the aftersales process, ensuring every customer receives a professional, efficient and friendly experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers into the dealership and providing a professional and friendly service.
- Managing customer bookings and the service process from start to finish.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring excellent levels of satisfaction.
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Providing regular updates to customers regarding their vehicles.
- Identifying and explaining additional work and relevant products or services where appropriate.
- Working closely with the workshop and other departments to ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timescales.
- Ensuring all administration and customer records are completed accurately.
- Handling sensitive and confidential customer information appropriately.
- Working to deadlines while maintaining a high standard of customer care.
- Supporting continuous improvements to dealership processes and customer experience.
- Working as part of a team to achieve departmental and dealership objectives.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Professional, friendly and confident when dealing with customers.
- Comfortable handling customer complaints and resolving issues.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experienced in administration and handling confidential information.
- Commercially aware, with experience of working in a sales environment.
- Positive, enthusiastic and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- A strong team player who is willing to support colleagues.
- Confident in identifying opportunities to promote additional products and services ethically.
- Automotive Experience
- Previous experience within a franchised or independent automotive dealership would be highly advantageous.
- Experience using Kerridge or Keyloop would also be beneficial, although candidates with strong customer service experience from other environments will be considered.
- A full UK driving licence is required, held for a minimum of 6 months, with fewer than 9 penalty points.
- You must also be able to demonstrate your right to work in the UK
