We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paint Sprayer to join a reputable automotive accident repair centre in Southampton. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a busy, quality-focused bodyshop environment. As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier paint repairs that meet manufacturer standards while supporting a team committed to excellence.

  • Competitive salary with an OTE of up to £50,000
  • Full-time, permanent position  8.00 to 5.00 with 1 in 3 Saturdays at 08.00 to 13.00.

Duties:
  • Prepare vehicles for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Mix and match paint colours accurately using computer systems and paint chips
  • Apply top coats with precision, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes
  • Conduct quality control inspections, verifying colour match and finish standards
  • Support junior technicians and maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping and safety compliance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer within an automotive bodyshop environment
  • ATA or equivalent Level 3 qualification
  • Knowledge of JLR, VAG, Audi, Bentley, McLaren approved systems is advantageous
  • Ability to interpret technical data and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Valid UK driving license and right to work in the UK
