We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and highly regarded automotive workshop in Stafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking to develop their career within a professional workshop environment, with access to ongoing training, manufacturer-accredited development programmes and specialist Hybrid & Electric Vehicle training.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team and play an important role in maintaining vehicles to the highest possible standards, using the latest diagnostic technology and equipment.

About this Vehicle Technician Role:
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Servicing vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements
  • Diagnosing and completing additional repairs once authorised
  • Carrying out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Completing accurate and detailed job cards and relevant paperwork
  • Conducting road tests to ensure all faults have been successfully rectified
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship across every vehicle
  • Working collaboratively with the wider workshop and service team
  • About You
We’re looking for a qualified and motivated Vehicle Technician or experienced Mechanic who takes pride in their work.

As a  Vehicle Technician, you’ll ideally have:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience within the motor trade, whether in a franchised dealership or independent garage
  • A full and valid UK driving licence
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
  • A genuine desire to learn, develop and progress your career.
Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Previous experience working with a specific manufacturer is also desirable, but not required, as full manufacturer-accredited training will be available.

Working hours:
