- Pay: £38,000 - £45,000 Basic with annual pay reviews every year without fail
- Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday (1-hour breaks throughout the day)
- Every Saturday morning but Saturdays on a rota can be entertained for the right individual
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
- Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard
- Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations (if qualified)
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, meeting both customer and business expectations
- Liaise with the service team to provide accurate updates on vehicle repairs
- Maintain high workshop standards and adhere to health & safety regulations
- Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
- MOT Testing License is desirable but not essential – our client is willing to put the right individual through their MOT qualification
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
- Competitive basic salary of £38,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
