Service Reception Manager / Assistant Service Manager Required for Car Dealer in Epsom 
Pay: £38k - £40k Basic + Bonuses 
Hours: 45 Hours per week + Saturdays on a rota

We are currently recruiting for a Service Reception Manager on behalf of a car dealership located in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a reputable team and progress their career within a well-established group. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong knowledge of service management to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Benefits

  • Competitive basic salary between £38,000 and £40,000 per annum with achievable bonuses, with an overall OTE of approximately £46,000
  • 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis
  • 23 days plus bank holidays for rest and leisure

Duties

  • Overseeing the Service Reception department to deliver excellent customer service
  • Managing a team to ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction
  • Supporting the Service Department with administrative tasks, customer liaison, recruitment and staff development
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and manufacturer standards
  • Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of service processes
  • Assisting in the training and development of team members
Candidate spec

  • Proven experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager or Service Manager in the motor trade
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and upbeat personality
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Kerridge or Pinnacle DMS or similar dealership management systems
  • Local to Epsom or willing to commute
  • Professional approach with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Confident communication and customer service skills
