Key Responsibilities as a Service Advisor:
- Manage the customer journey from booking to vehicle handover, ensuring clear communication and transparency
- Handle service, repair, and MOT bookings efficiently
- Prepare accurate job cards, estimates, and repair authorisations
- Liaise effectively between customers and workshop technicians
- Provide regular updates, explanations, and advice to customers
- Coordinate parts orders and supplier communications
- Process invoices, payments, and warranty claims
- Maintain an organised and professional reception and waiting area.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Service Advisor in a franchise or independent garage
- Good understanding of vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT procedures
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- IT-literate with the ability to adapt to internal management systems
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
