Workshop Controller / Senior Service Advisor Required in Leatherhead, Surrey 
Pay: £34 - £36k Basic + Bonus 
Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a rota 

Our client a Car Dealership based in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller / Senior Service Advisor to join their busy aftersales operation in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional with strong workshop coordination and customer service experience to take on a key role within an established team.

Benefits of working with our client: 

  • Basic salary of £34,000 to £36,000, depending on experience
  • Annual earnings of up to £44,000 including bonus
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 6pm
  • Saturdays worked on a rota basis
  • Key position within a busy automotive aftersales department
Duties

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the workshop to ensure an efficient workflow
  • Liaise with technicians, service advisors and customers throughout the repair process
  • Monitor job progress, productivity and quality of work
  • Support the service team with vehicle bookings, updates and customer queries
  • Ensure vehicles are completed and ready for collection within agreed timescales
  • Provide clear communication between the workshop and front-of-house departments
  • In this Workshop Controller / Senior Service Advisor role, help maintain high standards of customer service and operational performance
Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Service Advisor or in a similar motor trade position
  • Strong knowledge of workshop processes and vehicle servicing or repair operations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and remain organised in a busy environment
  • Confidence liaising with technicians, customers and management
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Experience as a Workshop Controller / Senior Service Advisor would be highly advantageous
