Aftersales Advisor Required in Kingston upon Thames for Car Dealership
Pay: Up to £33k Basic + Bonus based on departmental profit
Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a rota  We are recruiting an Aftersales Advisor to join a busy car dealership in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional with service or parts knowledge to develop their career within a customer-focused aftersales department.

Benefits

  • Basic salary of up to £33,000, depending on experience
  • Bonus based on departmental profit
  • OTE of up to £37,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8.00am to 6.00pm
  • Saturdays on a rota
  • Opportunity to join an established automotive aftersales team
  • Varied role combining service and parts advisory responsibilities
Duties

  • As an Aftersales Advisor, you will welcome customers and provide professional support throughout their vehicle ownership experience
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop and arranging service, maintenance and repair work
  • Advising customers on recommended work, costs and timescales
  • Preparing accurate estimates and keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
  • Liaising with technicians, parts suppliers and internal departments to ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Identifying additional work requirements and explaining these clearly to customers
  • Supporting parts-related enquiries and ensuring the correct components are available when required
  • Maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of customer service
Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Aftersales Advisor, Service Advisor or Parts Advisor within the motor trade
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair processes
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A professional, customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy dealership environment
  • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
