About this Vehicle Appraiser Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Appraiser to join a busy and growing automotive dealership based in Wolverhampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a good knowledge of vehicles, an eye for detail and a passion for the motor trade to join an established dealership specialising in a wide range of quality used vehicles.

As a Vehicle Appraiser, you will play an important role in assessing vehicles, providing accurate valuations and supporting the sales team with part-exchange opportunities and vehicle acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Appraiser?:??????
  • Carrying out vehicle appraisals and assessing the overall condition of vehicles.
  • Providing accurate and competitive vehicle valuations.
  • Inspecting vehicles for damage, wear and tear, mileage and general condition.
  • Assessing vehicle history and service records where available.
  • Researching market values to ensure accurate and commercially competitive appraisals.
  • Supporting the sales team with part-exchange valuations and customer enquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate records of vehicle appraisals and valuations.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are assessed professionally and consistently.
  • Keeping up to date with current vehicle market trends and values.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has a genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry.
  • Has good knowledge of different vehicle makes and models.
  • Has strong attention to detail and the ability to assess vehicle condition accurately.
  • Is confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
  • Can work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Has a good understanding of the used-car market and vehicle values.
  • Is organised, reliable and commercially aware.
  • Is flexible and available to work weekends as part of a rota.
  • Previous experience in vehicle appraisal, part exchange, vehicle purchasing or within a motor dealership would be advantageous.
