Vehicle Technician Required in Guildford for Car Dealership 
Pay: £34,000 - £37,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime
Hours: 40 Hours Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5pm with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 

We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients busy dealership workshop team based in Guildford. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive basic salary, uncapped earning potential and excellent opportunities for professional development within a supportive, high-performing team.

Duties

  • As a Vehicle Technician, you will complete vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology
  • Carry out servicing and inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
  • Check vehicle lights, tyre pressures, mechanical systems and electrical components
  • Carry out minor repairs and additional work once authorised by the customer
  • Fit accessories requested by customers
  • Complete basic mechanical and electrical diagnosis
  • Carry out warranty repairs in line with manufacturer procedures
  • Road test vehicles to confirm that faults have been rectified
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Requirements

  • We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a dealership or independent garage environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A self-motivated, ambitious and reliable approach to work
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
  • Previous experience working with a manufacturer brand would be advantageous, although full accreditation training can be provided
