Our client is a family run haulage company based in Totnes, and they are looking for an additional HGV Technician to join their small friendly team in a brand new twin bay HGV workshop.

HGV Mechanic experience preferred but not essential. Priority is for a qualified HGV Technicians with a can do and flexible attitude.

This HGV Technician role will have an excellent rate of pay which is negotiable dependant on experience. Bonus's available.

The need for a 2nd HGV Technician / Mechanic is an addition to the team, rather than a replacement, due to expansion of the business and the construction of the new premises.

The HGV Technician must be able to work on own initiative, not be afraid to take on new tasks and be flexible with what is required for our busy modern workshop and haulage business.

Duties as a HGV Technician will include carrying out safety inspection, servicing, general maintenance, tyre / wheel changing, pre mot inspections, MOT work, breakdowns.

Auto electrical and diagnostic knowledge would be an advantage. HGV Licence not compulsory but would definitely be an advantage.
