Vehicle Technician required in Wigan, Lancashire
  • Salary between £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
  • Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (NO WEEKENDS!)

Our client based in Wigan are a long-established Independent Garage, experiencing a growth in business and are therefore looking to recruit for a knowledgeable and experienced Vehicle Technician.

As an experienced individual, you will be skilled in basic servicing and you must be able to produce high quality work in a busy motor trade environment, and be motivated through set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team.

To be considered for this Vehicle Technician role, you must:
  • Be an experienced Vehicle Technician
  • Be qualified to Level 3 or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years workshop experience
  • MOT Tester will be an advantage  
Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Assemble and install mechanical components according to specifications
  • Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of vehicles
  • Utilize power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment as necessary
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns if required
