Our client is an independent family orientated team. They are looking to do things differently within the automotive trade and create an environment where people want to come to work for them. They have experience within the automotive industry for many years and wants to break away from the mould of being treated like a number on a spreadsheet.

They are seeking like-minded vehicle technicians to join them on their journey as they grow their business. They have built a loyal customer base working on all makes and models of vehicles within the Tonbridge & Sevenoaks areas.

They operate like a Main Dealer, whilst acting like a independent garage, so you get the best of both worlds!

As a Vehicle Technician for our client, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, identifying faults, and carrying out repairs on a variety of vehicles. You'll need to have experience working with a range of makes and models and be comfortable using the latest diagnostic equipment.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard.
  • Conducting vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Completing work within the given timeframes and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work completed.
  • Participating in manufacturer training programs to further develop your skills.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations.
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
  • Experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician, with NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • A MOT Testing licence is highly beneficial.
  • Strong diagnostic skills are beneficial.
  • Experience working on a variety of makes and models of vehicles is desirable.
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
The successful Vehicle Technician will be a fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Ideally your background will be from an independent garage or main car dealership background. You will need a strong work ethic and professional attitude for this rewarding career opportunity.
