  • Basic Salary: Up to £36,000 
  • OTE: Circa £47,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • No Weekends 
  • VW Diagnostic Technician training / accreditations

As a Diagnostic Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing and repairing complex issues on vehicles using cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and your technical expertise.

Responsibilities of a Diagnostic Technician: 
  • Carry out advanced diagnostic work, fault finding, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles
  • Use state-of-the-art technology to quickly and accurately identify issues
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure high-quality, efficient repairs
  • Keep up-to-date with manufacturer guidelines and repair procedures
Requirements for the Diagnostic Technician:
  • Proven experience working in a main dealership or busy independent garage
  • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and systems
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or related qualifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical, systematic approach to work
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
