Roadside Vehicle Technician – Bromley / Sidcup (South East London)
  • Up to £40,000 basic (DOE)
  • OTE: Up to £48,000 + 9% employer pension contribution + overtime
  • 40 hours/week – Shift patterns between 7am–8pm (Mon–Fri) + 1 in 3 or 4 weekends

We’re on the hunt for an experienced, motivated, and friendly Roadside Vehicle Technician to join a leading automotive mobile team covering Bromley, Sidcup, and the vibrant South East London area. Whether you're rescuing commuters in Croydon, fixing flats in Forest Hill, or restarting batteries in Beckenham, you'll be the local hero who keeps the region moving.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues at the roadside – think battery jumps, tyre swaps, and more complex engine issues
  • Delivering reassurance and expert advice to stranded customers with empathy and confidence
  • Working independently from your mobile workshop (a fully kitted-out van), but always backed by your dispatch and tech team
  • Keeping jobs logged accurately and staying on top of safety and service standards
  • Representing a trusted brand with excellent customer service – every time
What You’ll Need:
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
  • A full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Solid vehicle diagnostics/repair background – roadside experience is a bonus!
  • Clear-headed, confident under pressure, and able to work independently
  • A natural communicator who enjoys helping people in sometimes stressful situations
