Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Bedford Main Dealer
  • Basic Salary: £31,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped bonus
  • OTE: Circa £48,000
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours 
  • 3 Month Bonus Guarantee 
  • Option for 4-day working week 
A well-established Bedford Main Dealer is seeking a dedicated and proficient Vehicle Technician. They're hiring across all skill levels – from Service Technician to Master Technician. Structured pay, uncapped bonuses, and manufacturer training all on offer.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct routine vehicle health checks and inspections
  • Accurately diagnose faults and recommend corrective actions
  • Complete all work within agreed timeframes and job card instructions
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment where applicable
  • Work in line with health & safety and quality control procedures
Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a successful Vehicle Technician.
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ/City and Guilds qualification
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-tier workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach.
  • Diagnostic / Master Technician level technicians require certificates / accreditations
