Vehicle Technician – Derby Main Dealer
  • Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 (Depending on Experience & Qualifications)
  • Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Bonus Scheme Available

We’re recruiting for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in Derby. Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and technical data
  • Complete vehicle health checks and repair authorisations
  • Work independently and as part of the team to meet targets
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Experience within a dealership or independent workshop
  • Confident in diagnostics, fault finding, and routine maintenance
  • EV/hybrid experience is advantageous but not essential
  • MOT Testing accreditation preferred but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
Ideal Vehicle Technician:
  • Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical data and repair manuals
  • High attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Willingness to attend manufacturer training and progress professionally
