- Basic Salary: £48,720 per annum
- On-Target Earnings: £50,000 – £54,000 per annum
- Working Hours: Equivalent of 40 hours per week, with flexible shifts scheduled between 6am and 2am
Key Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician:
- Attend breakdowns and roadside call-outs to diagnose faults and carry out minor repairs
- Provide high-quality customer service and technical support to motorists in distress
- Accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate action or recovery
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical problems
- Maintain communication with the central support team and update job statuses
- Flexibility to travel, with occasional overnight stays depending on rota
- Work within varied shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Represent the business professionally and uphold high service standards at all times
- Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent)
- Strong technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
- Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
