MET Technician Required in Erith, South East London

Basic Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week
Automotive Accident Repair / Crash Repair Business

Our Client is a well-established, Insurance-approved Vehicle Accident Repair Centre with a strong reputation for high-quality work.

Specialising in non-fault accident repairs, they regularly handle prestige vehicles and complete restoration projects, setting a high standard in the industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing accident repair business and work in a fully equipped workshop with the latest technology.

What’s in it for you?

Key Responsibilities of an MET Technician
  • Stripping and fitting vehicle components, including mechanical, electrical, and trim parts, to meet client and manufacturer specifications.

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on damaged vehicles.

  • Keeping product knowledge current and staying up-to-date with industry standards.

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to ensure customer loyalty and referrals.

  • Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards within the workshop.

What We’re Looking For in an MET Technician
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Recognised qualification in Accident Repair/Bodyshop, or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience as an MET Technician in a busy Bodyshop or accident repair setting.

  • Ability to carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs to an exceptional standard.

  • Must have own tools and relevant equipment.

  • Full UK Driving Licence required.

  • ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential.
