About the Role Join a dynamic team with one of the UK’s largest vehicle hire companies as a Mobile Vehicle Technician based in Crawley, West Sussex. This exciting role places you at the heart of a fast-paced, mobile repair environment, servicing a diverse fleet of over 1,000 light commercial vehicles. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining vehicles for both internal sites and large corporate client fleets across the region, ensuring exceptional service and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault Diagnosis: Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment to identify electrical and mechanical issues in light commercial vehicles.

  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform technical maintenance, repairs, and part replacements to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine servicing and MOT preparation to maintain fleet performance.

  • Mobile Services: Travel to customer sites across the region to provide high-quality, on-site repair services.

  • Customer Focus: Deliver exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction and clear communication at all times.

Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Formal technical training or time-served experience in the automotive sector or a similar environment.

  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence (essential).

  • Teamwork & Independence: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a mobile capacity.

  • Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, varied environment with diverse vehicle types.
