- Up to £25,000 basic starting salary pending experience and current earnings
- Access to a departmental profit bonus scheme of up to £600 per month with a £3,000 annual bonus potential.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch. 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 12:30pm, paid at time and a half.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as part of a small, friendly Aftersales Department team, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and promptly picking and supplying vehicle parts to our clients’ workshop staff to carry out vehicle repairs. You will also carry out parts stock control and audits, and deal with trade/retail customers regarding parts inquiries.
In the first instance, our client is looking for candidates with recent or current experience working in the automotive industry and who have familiarity with vehicles. Parts experience, ideally working with a similar automotive business, would be highly beneficial but is non-essential, and our client is very open to considering candidates from a warehousing/stores background in another industry who have an interest in cars and starting a new chapter in their career. You will need to be IT literate, given that you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system. You will also ideally hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic manner.
What's in it for you? For your hard work as a Vehicle Parts Advisor, our client is offering:
- Up to £25,000 basic starting salary pending experience and current earnings
- Access to a departmental profit bonus scheme of up to £600 per month with a £3,000 annual bonus potential.
- Fully funded training and development.
- Overtime paid at standard rate
- 30 days annual leave (including the bank holidays)
- Workplace pension scheme.
- Company benefits include staff discounts, health care provisions, internal competitions/prizes, and genuine career progression.
- Fantastic career prospects with a large dealer group with multiple sites across the region.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch. 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:30am to 12:30pm, paid at time and a half
