Senior Technician Needed in Bolton
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week + 1 in 2 Saturdays (paid at time and a half)
  • Salary: From £36,000 (negotiable depending on experience) Plus bonus & overtime 
  • OTE: £50,000 
  • Holidays: 22 days plus Bank Holidays
Our client, a respected Main Dealer Franchise Group, is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join their skilled team in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established dealership that offers long-term career growth and full manufacturer training through the franchise academy.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Technician:
  • Road test vehicles during and after repair
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify minor and complex faults
  • Read and interpret Customer Incident Forms, wiring diagrams, and fault-finding guides
  • Strip down, recondition, and replace major units/components
  • Ensure high-quality repairs and a first-time fix through thorough testing
  • Work to a high standard while maintaining strong attention to detail
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experienced Senior or Master Technician
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Background in either a franchised dealership or independent garage
  • Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical skills
  • A professional and self-motivated individual committed to quality
