Service Administrator - Family-Run Vehicle Dealership
  • Location: Horsham, West Sussex
  • Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 Basic (Dependent on Experience)
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (Start/finish times flexible)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Administrator to join a long-established and family-run vehicle dealership based in Horsham. This is a key position within a friendly and supportive team, offering long-term stability and the chance to grow with a trusted local business.

Key Responsibilities in this Service Administrator position:
  • Provide daily administrative support to the service department.
  • Manage bookings and maintain accurate service records across systems.
  • Assist in scheduling vehicle services, MOTs, and repairs.
  • Liaise with technicians, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor compliance, documentation, and service deadlines.
  • Prepare reports and assist with invoicing and warranty claims.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service both over the phone and in person.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in a service or administration role, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • A friendly and professional manner with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Great attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – Grade 9-4 (A* – C) essential.
