- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Salary: Negotiable – Dependent on Experience and Skill Level (up to £45,000 basic salary)
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
As a Vehicle Technician, you will carry out diagnostics, PDI, maintenance, and repair work to a high standard on a wide range of vehicles. You’ll work with autonomy and responsibility, ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet both customer and manufacturer expectations.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Complete MOT preparation and post-test repairs (where applicable)
- Ensure work is carried out efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standard
- Complete relevant documentation and service records
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work independently as well as contribute positively to the wider team
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 automotive qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a range of vehicles
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work unsupervised
- Good team player with a solid work ethic
- Full UK driving licence preferred
