Vehicle Technician – Main Dealership in Oldham 
  • Basic Salary up to £36,450 Depending on experience + bonus! 
  • Annual Leave: 31 Days Holiday Per Year (including Bank Holidays) 
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 42.5 hrs + optional overtime 
  • Must have City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in vehicle repair

Our client, a well-established main dealership, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in Oldham. Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Maintain and repair vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they are serviced and repaired in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, liaising closely with Service Advisors and customers.
  • Perform Vehicle Health Checks, ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete all jobs within agreed timeframes while maintaining high productivity levels.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure all issues are resolved and customers’ expectations are exceeded.
  • Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards, ensuring minimal repeat repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment meet health and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
  • A formal qualification in Vehicle Repair (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Proven diagnostic and fault-finding experience (desirable).
  • A full, valid UK driving license.
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a “right first time” attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and awareness of health and safety procedures.
