Vehicle Technicians Needed in Manchester
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday + 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota
  • Salary: £36,000 - £44,223 per annum (depending on level & experience) + uncapped bonus
Our client, a well-established dealership, is looking to recruit Technicians of all skill levels, from Prep Technician to Master Technician, to join their enthusiastic and diverse team. Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on cars and vans to the highest standards
  • Ensure optimal efficiencies and first-time fix rates
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
  • Conduct MOT testing (if certified)
  • Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (OR Level 2 for a Prep Technician)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools required
  • Main dealer workshop experience preferred
  • Current DVSA Certification for MOT Testing is an advantage

  • 8:00am – 4:45pm
  • 8:15am – 5:00pm

  • (Each includes a 30-minute lunch break and 15-minute tea break)
  • 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota (8:30am – 12:30pm, paid at time-and-a-half).
