- Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Allocate work to technicians based on skill set and availability
- Monitor repair progress and update service reception to maintain excellent customer communication
- Maintain workshop productivity, quality control, and adherence to health and safety policies
- Coach and support the technician team to achieve performance targets
- Assist with complex technical issues when required
- Liaise with parts and service departments to streamline workflow
- Previous experience in a workshop controller or senior technician role
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance preferred
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a technical team
- Confident with workshop systems – Kerridge/Keyloop experience an advantage
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- FULL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
