About Our Client Our client is a well-established, family-run dealership group in Dartford, Kent, renowned for delivering top-quality vehicles and outstanding customer service. With a strong emphasis on team collaboration and career progression, they are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Advisor to ensure the smooth running of their service department and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of an Automotive Service Advisor with Our Client
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, scheduling service appointments and providing updates on vehicle repairs
  • Advise customers on service and repair needs, explaining technical details in a clear and professional manner
  • Coordinate with the workshop team to ensure timely and high-quality completion of vehicle services
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare accurate invoices, process payments, and maintain detailed records of all service transactions
  • Upsell additional services and products where appropriate to enhance customer experience and department performance
  • Contribute to the efficient and smooth operation of the service department
Requirements for the Service Advisor Role:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs to effectively liaise between customers and technicians
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using dealership management systems and basic computer applications
  • Valid UK driver’s license
