Our client, a large multi-franchise car dealer group based across South Wales and South West England, is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their head office in Chepstow following business expansion and the development of more workload.
Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working as part of a friendly team, in the role of a Credit Controller, your responsibilities shall include:
- Chasing internal and external debts as they become due for payment
- Be responsible for the posting and allocation of collections
- Chase outstanding invoices by telephone and email
- Undertake weekly and monthly reviews of the sales ledger
- Communicate regularly with customers and work as part of a team.
To be eligible, our client is looking for a well-presented individual who has a positive work ethic and recent or current experience within a similar accounts-based role. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised and a good team player, able to work to strict deadlines and have attention to detail. They should be self-motivated, able to solve problems, and be IT literate (ideally with Pinnacle dealer management system experience, but this is non-essential). Any previous experience in a similar automotive accounts role would be highly advantageous, however is non-essential.
