Salary: Up to £35,000 with OTE up to £38,000
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40-hour week with flexible working hours (3 shift rotas available)
We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a busy and reputable main dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s largest privately and family-owned motor retail groups, known for its commitment to excellence, people-first values, and strong manufacturer partnerships.

Job PurposeTo carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT testing to the highest standard, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent customer satisfaction. You will work as part of a supportive team within a modern and well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities in this Vehicle Technician role
  • Perform scheduled vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Conduct diagnostic work and identify faults accurately
  • Complete repairs in line with manufacturer standards and guidelines
  • Carry out MOT testing
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within agreed timescales
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and workshop procedures
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician vacancy
  • IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • 1–2 years’ workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • MOT Testing qualification
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good team player with strong technical and diagnostic ability
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment
