  • On-Target Earnings: £50,000 – £54,000 per annum
  • Hours: Equivalent of 40 hours per week, with flexible shifts scheduled between 6am and 2am

We’re recruiting on behalf of the UK’s leading breakdown service provider for a flexible and customer-focused Roadside Technician to join their growing team in the Stockport area. This is a unique opportunity to take your expertise out on the road, helping drivers across the region by diagnosing and resolving vehicle faults at the roadside.

Responsibilities for a Roadside Technician:
  • Responding to roadside breakdowns and carrying out on-the-spot repairs
  • Diagnosing faults using a range of tools and equipment
  • Providing calm, confident support to motorists in often stressful situations
  • Liaising with the central support team to update job progress
  • Working a flexible shift pattern including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Occasionally staying overnight depending on rota requirements
  • Upholding a high standard of service and representing the brand professionally

Requirements for a Roadside Technician:
  • A Level 2 (or above) qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Solid mechanical and electrical diagnostic experience
  • A strong customer service focus with clear communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing schedule and travel when required
