Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 18:00pm

One of our clients is currently looking for a General Sales Manager for their commercial dealerships in the Midlands. They need someone with proven skills within commercial sales, ideally coming from a background in Senior Management. 

They boast an excellent package, including a highly sought-after 6-figure OTE, company vehicle, and invaluable training courses as part of their retailer's development scheme. 

You will be based out of their head office, and will be responsible for overseeing several commercial dealerships sales functions, as such a company vehicle is provided. You will report directly to Principal level managers within the dealerships themselves, and will oversee several teams of Sales Executives. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Drive Sales both in the local area and wider UK. 
  • Focus on developing both the Fleet and Retail sectors of the business. 
  • Create and Deliver Sales Strategy to exceed sales Targets for ICE and BEV vehicles. 
  • Managing and developing a team of sales executives.
  • Overseeing the Sales Administration Department.
  • Improving sales processes and ensuring that all targets, standards and processes are followed, in line with contract arrangements. 

Required Experience:
  • Experienced in the Sale of commercial vehicles, and of products such as service plans, telematics and various subscription services.
  • Experienced in supporting and managing a sales department. 
  • Confident in communicating with Senior Management teams. 
  • Must have a passion and enthusiasm for Truck Sales.
  • Must have excellent people management skills.
  • Your leadership style must be hands-on. You should be able to demonstrate an established track record in profit delivery, cost control, stock management and people development.
