This is a rare opportunity to join a well-run, respectable Accident Repair Centre who pride themselves on their quality of work and customer care. They treat each member of staff with value and respect, offering a clean, state of the art, well laid out family run Bodyshop environment.
Please note, our client will be willing to work with Vehicle Technicians from Car Dealerships or Independent Service centres, who are looking to change sectors within the Automotive industry. We are open to recruiting experienced MET Technicians too.
The successful MET Technician or Vehicle Technician will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar mechanical role, either with a main dealership or an independent Bodyshop. After training and onboarding, you will be skilled in Stripping and Fitting Automotive Car Parts across the entire mechanical, electrical and trim spectrum within a Crash Repair Workshop have experience working in a quality focused accident repair environment. Our client is open to conversations for Semi Skilled or Improver MET Technicians to work with them and skill up.

- Working knowledge and experience of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
- Steering Geometry alignment and adjustment
- Glazing, minor panel repairs.
- Preparation and priming of a new / repaired panel to first masking stage
- Air Conditioning system evacuation and recharge
- Working with Plastic repairs
- Achieving an ongoing high rate of productivity.
- Providing timely information and updates to team members, colleagues.
- Prioritising any reworks.
- Following safety procedures.

- Previous Time-Served MET Experience
- Preferably have a NVQ level 3 or senior ATA accreditation
- You must also have your own tools equipment.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
