  • Starting salary up to £28,000 per annum if full-time.

Our client, a large multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with several centres across Southwest England, is looking to recruit a Vehicle Warranty/Retail Administrator to join their Avonmouth centre on either a 30-40 hour week contract.

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a friendly administration team, your duties as a Vehicle Warranty/Retail Administrator will include:
  • Preparing all warranty claims for submission to manufacturers for payment.
  • Checking and clearing weekly statements and querying any overdue claims not paid or any discrepancies in payments.
  • Ensuring all documentation falls in line with manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Preparing invoices and warranty claims accurately by manufacturers' and departmental standards about claim deals and administration of open time, clockings and job card write-ups.
  • Ensuring repair order documentation is fully and correctly completed.
  • Ensuring all policy claims are quickly dealt with and the customer reimbursements are correct.
  • Maintaining high standards of control over displaced material returned to manufacturers.
  • Accurately reconciling warranty credits and correctly administering discrepancies.
To be eligible, you will need to have previous experience in an office administrative capacity with strong clerical/data entry skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-first mindset, whilst being able to work collaboratively across departments. Knowledge of the automotive industry and vehicle warranty administration (especially with commercial vehicles) would be highly advantageous, but is non-essential.
