- Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
- Salary: Up to £47,600 OTE (£30,000 - £39,000 basic, plus £6,600 uncapped bonus and additional £2k EV bonus)
- Working Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday - Friday (7:00 am - 6:00 pm), and every other Saturday (8:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established automotive service centre in Liverpool. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks, conducting services, and performing repairs while working alongside a supportive team. Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
- Perform vehicle health checks using the latest technology
- Conduct vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
- Complete additional repairs as authorised by customers
- Carry out warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
- Conduct road tests to ensure all faults are resolved
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous motor industry experience (brand or non-brand)
- Full and valid UK driving licence
- Self-motivated and able to work to the highest standards
- Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues
- Diagnostic, MOT, and EV experience is desirable but not essential
- Ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to delivering excellent customer service
