Parts Advisor needed, in Glasgow

  • Basic Salary up to £25,000 DOE
  • OTE up to £43,000
  • Permanent Role – 42.5 hours per week
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Parts Advisor to join a busy Parts distribution team in the Glasgow area. This is a key front and back-counter role supplying internal departments, trade customers, and the Workshop with parts and accessories.

The potential employee will have previous experience in a Main Dealer or Motor Factor environment and be confident handling customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone.

Duties:
  • Accurately identify and supply parts to trade and retail customers
  • Handle orders via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Maintain stock control and process incoming deliveries
  • Upsell additional items and promotions when appropriate
  • Liaise with the workshop and other internal departments
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service
Requirements of this Parts Advisor role:
  • Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role within the motor trade
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office and stock systems
  • Knowledge of dealer management systems (e.g. Kerridge) is advantageous
  • A team player who is proactive and reliable
