We are looking for an experienced and skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our well-established, family-run service centre based in Uttoxeter. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in their technical ability and leadership within the workshop.
As a Technician, you will take pride in your work, carrying out repairs to a high standard. You must be confident in working independently, with an exceptional understanding of both mechanical and electronic vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:
- Carry out reapir work, diagnostics, mechanical and electrical, servicing, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
- Perform quality control checks and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct MOT tests (if licensed) and complete all associated paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support workshop management in the efficient running of the service department.
Requirements for Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or higher in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Full UK driving licence.
- Your own tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
This position is ideally suited for someone local or within reasonable commuting distance of Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
