Vehicle Technician needed in Ludlow:
  • Basic Salary:£38,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus: Time-saving bonus scheme
  • Overtime: Paid at time and a half
  • Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm (paid as overtime)
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Vehicle Technician to join the service department of a long-standing, family-run main dealer in Ludlow. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small, friendly team while receiving ongoing training and development.
You will carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring vehicles are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and report on vehicle condition, safety, and performance
  • Work to manufacturer and dealership standards, ensuring quality procedures are followed
  • Support colleagues within the workshop team and contribute towards achieving department targets
  • Keep up to date with manufacturer training, including EV and hybrid systems
What's required for the the Vehicle Technician role:
  • NVQ/IMI Level 2 or above in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Level 3 preferred)
  • MOT licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong attention to detail and a team player attitude
  • Capable of producing high-quality work in a busy main dealer environment
