- Basic Salary:£38,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus: Time-saving bonus scheme
- Overtime: Paid at time and a half
- Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm (paid as overtime)
You will carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring vehicles are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles
- Carry out fault diagnosis and report on vehicle condition, safety, and performance
- Work to manufacturer and dealership standards, ensuring quality procedures are followed
- Support colleagues within the workshop team and contribute towards achieving department targets
- Keep up to date with manufacturer training, including EV and hybrid systems
- NVQ/IMI Level 2 or above in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Level 3 preferred)
- MOT licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Strong attention to detail and a team player attitude
- Capable of producing high-quality work in a busy main dealer environment
- £38,000 basic salary (DOE)
