HGV Technician Needed in Fareham, Hampshire:
  • Basic Salary up to £48,900 + shift allowance-£55,000 OTE
  • Permanent Lates or Rotating Shifts Available

Our client, a leading commercial vehicle business in Fareham, is expanding their team following a major new customer win of 70 vehicles. They now require an HGV Technician to join their busy 10-strong workshop team. Whether you’re an experienced Truck Technician or a qualified Van/LCV Technician looking to progress into HGV work, this is a fantastic opportunity to take your career forward with full training provided.

Shift Patterns:
  • Days: 07:00 – 16:00
  • Lates: 14:00 – 23:00
  • Options: Permanent Lates OR rotating Days/Lates (Days only not available)

Duties of an HGV Technician with our Client:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs (and vans if required).
  • Perform diagnostics and fault finding to manufacturer standards.
  • Work efficiently to maximise productivity while maintaining high quality.
  • Support a growing fleet contract alongside an experienced workshop team.
What our Client expects of their HGV Technicians:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance – essential.
  • Full qualifications required (cannot consider time-served only).
  • Flexibility to work lates or rotating shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
