HGV Technician Required in Southampton, Hampshire:
  • Basic Salary up to £44,200 basic – OTE £48,000
  • Working Hours, 05:30 – 14:30 Mon – Thurs, Saturday 1 in 2 06:00 – 12:00,  
  • Followed by Monday to Thursday, 14.00 – 23.00 Friday, 11.00 – 20.00

Our client is a Multi-Site Commercial Vehicle Dealership group with multiple sites across the UK. They have been helping the UK Commercial Vehicle network running for over 30 years, with fleet maintenance, sales, service, and rental operations.

Duties of an HGV Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer's procedures within standard times set.
  • Vehicle inspection
  • General servicing
  • Fault diagnosis
  • Repair of vehicle defects
  • Road test vehicles
  • MOT preparation/presentation.
  • Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty required.
  • Completion of all required paperwork accurately
What our Client expects of their HGV Technician:
  • Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent) or Similar
  • Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry.
  • Have your own tool kit
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Ability to work to instruction.
  • Full UK Driving Licence. – Preferably Clean
  • Right to Live and work within the UK
