Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Northamptonshire Main Dealer
  • Position: Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Northamptonshire (outskirts of Northampton)
  • Basic Salary: Up to £38,000 (DoE)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Saturdays: 8:00am - 12:00pm (1 in 4)
  • Manufacturer training and career development 
  • Opportunity to obtain MOT License, expenses paid
We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and reputable main dealer in Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity to become a valued member of the aftersales team, carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to the highest standard.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring delivering quality workmanship across all aspects of the role. In return, you will receive manufacturer training, career development opportunities, and support to obtain your MOT licence (expenses paid).

Our client is committed to developing their people. If successful, you will be enrolled onto the manufacturer’s academy platform, with opportunities to progress from an accredited Service Technician through to an Electric Vehicle Specialist.

Key Responsibilities as Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
  • Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Completing repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring safety and quality at all times
  • Supporting with MOT preparation and obtaining MOT licence (with full support and expenses paid)
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering quality workmanship
Requirements needed for the Vehicle Technician Role:
  • Minimum NVQ Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 2 or equivalent
  • Previous workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving licence
