HGV Technician needed in Poole:
  • £18 – £22 per hour (DOE) + Overtime
  • Early Shift: 7:00AM – 5:00PM | Late Shift: 12:00PM – 10:00PM
  • 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (paid at 1.5x overtime)
Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a well-established commercial garage in Poole, is expanding their team and seeking skilled technicians to join their busy workshop.

Key Responsibilities for the new Vehicle Technician roles:
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Conduct inspections, adjustments, fluid changes, and component replacements
  • Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults efficiently
  • Complete warranty work to manufacturer standards
Requirements needed for the Vehicle Technician Role:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in HGV maintenance (or equivalent) is essential
  • Previous experience within either an independent or main dealer environment considered
  • HGV Class 1 or 2 licence preferred (not essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
