Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical gremlins with precision.
- Carry out thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance.
- Fit tyres, brakes, and other components like a pro.
- Handle air conditioning servicing and re-gassing.
- If you’ve got an MOT licence, conduct Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards (don’t worry if you don’t – they’ll help you get there!).
- Keep the workshop tidy and uphold the company’s high standards.
Who Our Client is Looking For?
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is great, but experience is the real MVP).
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repairs, and servicing.
- A passion for delivering high-quality work with an eye for detail.
- A team player who’s also confident working solo.
- A friendly, approachable attitude that fits the company’s honest, no-pressure vibe.
- A valid UK driving licence (non-negotiable).
- Bonus: An MOT Tester licence is a nice-to-have, but not a must – training is available for the right candidate!
