Junior / Service Vehicle Technician required in Edinburgh:
  • Basic Salary up to £30,000 DOE
  • Up to £32,000
  • Monday to Friday, 40-hour week
An established independent workshop is looking to recruit a motivated Junior or Service Technician. This position provides an excellent platform for recent qualifiers or aspiring technicians to develop their skills within a busy, supportive environment and grow into more senior roles.

Key Responsibilities for the Service Vehicle Technician:
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and routine servicing
  • Support diagnostics and minor repairs under supervision
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality
  • Use diagnostic tools for basic fault finding
  • Contribute to workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
Requirements for the Service Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Eagerness to learn and develop automotive skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Positive attitude and team-focused approach
