Exciting Opportunity: Sales Administrator | Family-Run Car Dealership Group Based in Orpington, Kent
Hours: 5 Days per week 8.30 - 5pm + break 
Pay: £30,000 - £32,000 DOE 

Our client, a well-established and reputable family-run car dealer group, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their friendly and dedicated team. As a key support to the sales team, the Sales Administrator will be responsible for managing sales documentation, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes. The ideal candidate will bring excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in sales support or administration within the motor trade or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, and proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with dealership management systems (e.g., Kerridge, CDK, Pinnacle)
  • Basic understanding of automotive sales processes and finance procedures
  • Knowledge of vehicle registration and DVLA processes
  • Previous exposure to sales reporting and analytics
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales administration or support roles
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics; further qualifications in business administration are a plus
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to support occasional weekend working on a rota basis
  • Strong team player with a professional attitude
  • Positive and customer-focused approach
