- Salary: Up to £43,000 basic | OTE £50,000
- Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00, Saturdays on a rota
The role involves servicing, repair, and diagnostics of vehicles to the highest standard, while supporting internal departments with the preparation and maintenance of new, used, or loan vehicles.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
- Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on all vehicles in the workshop
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and first-time quality
- Support internal teams with vehicle preparation and maintenance
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and enhance team performance
- Keep up-to-date with technical developments and contribute to workshop efficiency
- IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Proven experience within a busy workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Committed, team-oriented, and motivated to achieve targets
- Experience with MOT testing, hybrid vehicles, or VAG brands is advantageous but not essential
- Up to £43,000 basic with OTE of £50,000
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
