Our client a Franchised Dealer Group are seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Service Manager to join their car dealership aftersales team based in Wimbledon. With a competitive basic salary of £33,000 and a realistic OTE of up to £38,000, plus opportunities for advancement, this role is perfect for driven professionals ready to make an impact.

What You’ll Need to Succeed as an Assistant Service Manager?
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles within the automotive or retail industry, ideally as a Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or Assistant Service Manager
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee daily operations and support team performance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to enhance customer satisfaction
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the initiative to resolve issues effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and aftersales processes
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems and report generation tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Experience in the automotive service industry, with a demonstrated history of exceeding customer expectations
  • Previous supervisory experience in a customer service setting
Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday with occasional rota shifts (paid additionally)
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training programmes and develop technical knowledge
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of departmental housekeeping and professionalism
